Happy New Year! Welcome to our first newsletter of 2023. We hope you enjoy reading about what we have been up to over the past few months and what's going on in 2023.
A huge thank you to staff & young people who have continued to excel since the last newsletter in July 2022. We are excited about what the New Year will bring; improved opportunities and outcomes, more young people in their own homes, new ways of working and new projects!

Aspirational Awards Update
In May, the Aspirational Awards panel awarded just over £15,000 to 19 young people across our LHPs. It was inspiring to see such a wide range of ideas, goals and determination reflected in the applications, and a privilege to support more young people as they take their next steps forward. Funding in Round 9 supported training + graduate employment scheme, equipment for a baking business and support for other businesses, sports sessions, music lessons, lifeguard course, and day trips. We have also recently completed a 3 year review of our Aspirational Awards and the impact they’ve had. Over the past 3 years, we’ve awarded over £147,000 to 138 young people (not including figures from our most recent round in May). The club provides a welcoming space for all our young people, from cohorts both past and present , to enjoy creative activities and build community together.
