Kiltwalk 2024

Kiltwalk 2024

Posted 17th September 2024

Our most recent fundraising event, the Edinburgh Kiltwalk, was a standout event in our 2024 fundraising calendar and proved to be a huge success, thanks to the incredible support and dedication of participants and sponsors alike.

Held on Sunday 15th September, the Kiltwalk saw 36 enthusiastic walkers don their kilts and hit the streets, all in the name of raising funds for the provision of white goods for our young people moving into their first home. The event raised over £3500 which will go directly towards purchasing white goods and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this great achievement.

It was a great opportunity for young people, staff, and trustees to catch up whilst taking in the sights of glorious Edinburgh and from early morning until the late afternoon, the spirit of camaraderie amongst our community was amazing. So much so, that young people suggested doing all four Kiltwalks next year!

Sean, a young person from a House Project in Scotland said;

"I found the walk fun but a little difficult cause my toe started playing up and both my feet started to really hurt. Overall it was worth it cause it was a good day raising money for the charity I love"

As we look back on the success of the Kiltwalk, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and we extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event.

For those who missed the event, we encourage you to stay connected with us through our social media, website and newsletter for updates on future events and ways to get involved.

Once again, thank you for your support. Together, we are making strides towards enabling young people to live connected and fulfilling lives.
