CLNM Annual Conference 2022 - 'Sharing Success'

"An inspiring, welcoming and thought-provoking CLNM conference” - Care Leavers National Movement bring together young people and colleagues to ‘share success’ at their 2022 Annual Conference. On Thursday 20 October young people, colleagues and partners from across the country came together for the 2022 Care Leavers National Movement (CLNM) Annual Conference, ‘Sharing Success’; hosted at the Mercure Hotel in Manchester.
Project Launch in Bury, Rochdale & Oldham
21st October 2022
The launch of Bury, Rochdale and Oldham House Project on 10th October was an exciting event. It was held at Rochdale Youth Centre and saw young people, PAs, Social Workers and other colleagues joining together to celebrate the House Project beginning in the area. Alex Chaloner, a young person from Rochdale, welcomed attendees to the event stating, “after many months of planning and preparing, interviews and much more, we are thrilled to have you here… let’s continue to change the narrative for young people”.
Care Leavers as Energy Champions Project
18th October 2022
The National House Projects’ fight against fuel poverty continues as they launch the ‘Care leavers as Energy Champions Project’, funded through the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme. This energy project aims to inform, educate and raise awareness of energy efficiencies by providing intensive support with lasting solutions so that this vulnerable group can avoid fuel poverty and sustain their tenancies.
